Fourseasons Stud mares are carefully selected for temperament, type, and performance potential from proven Native and Warmblood bloodlines. Drawn from both showing and dressage pedigrees, our mares consistently produce athletic, correct foals with the quality and movement to excel across both disciplines.

We occasionally have foals and young stock available for sale, offering well-bred prospects for competition or future breeding.

Riviera

Hanoverian | Mare

Riviera, a Hanoverian mare by Relevance (by the legendary Rubinstein), was a much-loved and influential broodmare at Fourseasons Stud. Now sadly deceased, Riviera lives on through her exceptional progeny, including Fourseasons First Edition and other successful foals. She consistently passed on quality, trainability, and athletic ability, producing youngsters with the temperament and scope to excel across disciplines. Riviera’s bloodlines and lasting influence continue to play an important role in the foundation of the Fourseasons Stud breeding programme.

 

 

Revel

By Quirado (Quidam de Revel) out of Vorina. 

Revel, known as Wendy is dam to gold graded mare, Fourseasons Parthenos.

Revel’s dam line is exceptionally well proven, featuring influential jumping bloodlines including Éphèbe For Ever, sire of Eventing World Champion Allstar B. Éphèbe For Ever is by the legendary Galoubet A, who is also the grandsire of show jumping icon Big Star. Revel is further strengthened by being a granddaughter of the prolific French jumping stallion Quidam de Revel, cementing a pedigree renowned for athleticism, scope, and international performance success.

Gwenllian, or Gwen to her friends, enjoyed a sparkling career in the show ring, with the highlight being Ridden Champion at the Royal Welsh Show. She also competed successfully in the dressage arena up to Elementary level. Gwen is the dam of Fourseasons Sienna, continuing her legacy of quality, versatility, and performance.

Fourseasons Persephone

Fourseasons Persephone, affectionately known as Piglet, is the daughter of the multi-champion Fourseasons Muffins Last and the dam of Elite-graded Fourseasons Revelation and Fourseasons Gorgeous George. Piglet has herself gained entry into the Sports Pony Studbook Society Main Studbook with an impressive score of over 78%.

Brackenspa Forever Furst

Mare | AES

By Furstenball out of Forever.

Dam of Fourseasons Forever Graceful who achieved a high gold at the 2024 Futurity evaluations.

Her sire, Furstenball is by Furst Henrik, the sire of Woodlander Farouche – double world young horse champion. Furstenball himself competed up to S (advanced) level dressage as well as scoring 9s and 10s for his 30 day stallion test and is a prolific sire of dressage horses.

Countess of Lisroh

By the late Templebreedy Fear Bui, a hugely respected sire known for passing on movement, temperament and traditional type.

Countess of Lisroh herself is a proven show mare with outstanding results:

KWPN mare by Totilas out of Harveys Gazelle.

By the legendary dressage stallion Totilas, this mare brings exceptional movement, elasticity, and presence to her pedigree. She combines proven elite dressage bloodlines with rideability and athleticism, making her a valuable addition to the Fourseasons Stud breeding programme.

Cefn Brides Favour

Welsh Section C Mare, by Newbrook Reflection out of Cefn Bride

Brides Favour, known as Bride, is the dam of the Elite-scoring filly Fourseasons Honeymoon.

Triad Tiger Lilly

Section A mare, by Heathside Flashman out of Fronbach Velvet Lady.

Now retired, Tiger Lilly, affectionately known as Tiger, is the dam of Fourseasons Persephone and many other successful foals. She has been a cornerstone of Fourseasons Stud, consistently producing foals with excellent temperament, quality, and show potential.

Fourseasons Lalique

Welsh Section D mare, out of the late Fourwinds Gethin by Hendreforgan Railway Queen.

Lalique, affectionally known as Hazel is half sibling to Fourseasons Muffins last, and dam to Fourseasons Mr Whippy.

Hendreforgan Railway Queen

Section D mare, by the late great, Derwen Railway Express out of Hendreforgan Princess.

Railway Queen, affectionally known as Queenie. She joined the stud as a broodmare as a 3yr old producing a number of fabulous foals, including Fourseasons Muffins Last and Fourseasons Lalique. After Queenie retired from broodmare duties, she enjoyed some in-hand showing and often supporting freshly weaned foals, showing them the ropes. She reached a ripe old age before passing away, whilst we have her babies and generations of grand children, we don’t think she will ever be truly gone.
