Cynheidrefawr Creme de la Creme

Cremello Welsh D Stallion
Cynheidrefawr Crème de la Crème (“Crème”) is a Cremello Welsh D stallion competing at Inter I and training toward Grand Prix. He is graded with the Sports Pony Studbook Society (SPSS) and is owned by Helen Lomas (Fourseasons Stud), ridden by Alice Peternell, and bred by Kay Randell (Cynheidrefawr Stud). Crème is known for his exceptional temperament, expressive movement, and outstanding trainability—qualities he reliably passes on to his offspring.

Competition Highlights
Crème has consistently performed well while progressing through the dressage levels. He placed in the top ten at his first Premier League show and has regularly achieved top-ten results at regional finals. He finished seventh in the Medium Gold at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships and won the Medium BD Native Pony Championships in its inaugural year. In 2022, Crème came second in the Advanced Medium Freestyle (Gold) at the Winter Championships and qualified for the NAF Five Star Championships. In 2021, he won the Prix St Georges Midway Championships with a score exceeding 69% and also secured second place in the Gold Advanced Medium Freestyle at the Winter Regionals held at Prestige Equestrian.

Temperament, Trainability & Type
Crème is renowned for his exceptional temperament and kind nature, making him a true gentleman both under saddle and on the ground. He thrives in his training and shows real talent in his changes and emerging piaffe, already excelling in his medium and extended trot. Standing at 14.2hh, Crème is ideal for producing both quality performance ponies and smaller sports horses, depending on the mare. His first foal at Fourseasons Stud, Fourseasons First edition, stands at 16.1hh, demonstrating his ability to add size when paired with larger mares.
Colour Genetics
Crème carries the dilute gene and passes it to all of his offspring, offering breeders the opportunity to introduce striking and unusual colour into their breeding programme.

Offspring Quality & Success
Crème consistently produces foals with a sensible and willing temperament, strong conformation, and natural confidence from birth.
Crème’s first crop of foals have now been backed and ridden successfully. Fourseasons First Edition has shown a kind and willing temperament, working confidently on the flat, schooling over 1.05m show jumps, and tackling cross-country fences, ditches, banks, and water with boldness. In 2021, he qualified for the Unaffiliated Eventing Championships and will be aimed at BE100 with a few Novice tracks. He also loves hunting, always behaving as a perfect gentleman and an excellent hedge-hopper.
Purebred Section D, Fourseasons Mr Whippy has also proven to be a willing and reliable partner, consistently giving his all and taking every new challenge in his stride. His owner praises his calm and sensible attitude, saying, “He has been a dream ever since I bought him at 14 months old.”
Futurity results
Crème’s younger stock continue to impress in evaluations. Fourseasons Forever Graceful, out of Brackenspa Forever Furst, earned an impressive High Gold in the 2025 Futurity Evaluations, and Fourseasons Honeymoon, out of Cefn Brides Favour, further highlighted Crème’s quality as a sire by achieving an Elite rating in the same evaluations. His 2019 pure bred filly, Ultimate Finale, also earned a Gold rating at the evaluations.
